The flexible joint which consists of 2 or more flexible part can be fully functional without leakage in the form of flex, offset and extension.There are 2 types of flexible joint.The spherical type of flexible joint adopts the design of spherical joint parts, while the steel type of flexible joint adopts the specialized designed U type seal rubber.When the pipelines are moved as the result of stratum sink or vibration caused by traffic or earthquake, the flexible joint can absorb the energy and pressure caused thereby effectively and is capable of self-adjustment, so that it can protect and prevent the pipeline system from any potential damages.

可撓管主要具有二組以上之可撓構件所構成，並且能夠在撓彎、偏位、伸縮狀態下而不漏水。球型可撓管之可撓構件採用球型設計；鋼製可撓管之可撓構件採用特殊U型止水橡膠設計。當管線因地層潛變、振動、地震引發變位現象時，可藉由可撓管之各變位功能吸收調節，避免管線因不當應力損壞，維護輸水管線安全。
